Autobahn Online AT is an independent information portal providing comprehensive, factual guidance on Austrian motorway vignettes, traffic regulations, and road rules for travellers from Europe and the United Kingdom. Our aim is to help you prepare for your journey to and through Austria with confidence and full regulatory compliance.
Austria operates an extensive motorway and expressway network managed by ASFINAG (Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen-Finanzierungs-Aktiengesellschaft). Using this network requires a valid vignette — a toll sticker or digital authorisation applicable to vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
Our Mission
